The coat of arms

The coat of arms was conferred in the year 1969 to the township of Laßnitzhoehe. The silver safebowl represents the curative climate effect. The “Dreiberg” advises to the hilly landscape, the spruce to the densely wooded area and the sun advises to the superior sunny days. The “german cavalier cross” reminds to the german order of knights, who lorded over this region.

The heal climatic health resort

Generally Laßnitzhoehe is well known of it´s microclimatic health resort.
45% of the town ship area is forested. Many good marked hiking trails and promenades are crossing the town ship area.

The mulitude of routes for mountainbiking and also fitness miles are very popular by the sports
enthusiastic people. Tennis and soccer grounds as well as a miniature golf complex are rounding the sports and free time possibilities.

Nowadays, many companies and hotels are keeping busy on tourism and mainly on elderly caring. Furthermore and particularly the two hospitals in Laßnitzhöhe are famous for it´s medical care and cosmetic surgery.
